We can Repair most technology including Consoles, Computers, Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones, Power Tools, Garden Tools, Hair Straighteners, Kit Car Steering wheels,……. Anything within reason and worth repairing. We will assess items for free, we will normally contact you with a quote and diagnosis, but sometimes the fix is simple and gets done there and then. Work will start to incur costs when we have to do significant teardown of a device to establish cause, this starts at £15.

These days, due to the vast number of gadgets and devices we have, there is inevitably a very large parts list, this makes it hard for us to quote straight away and is why we ask for information up front, allowing us to pinpoint the part needed. Quotes for mobile phone screen or console damage can be quick to quote but sometimes we need 24-48 hours to provide a price for repair. It may be necessary to provide a deposit if we don’t have the part in stock, usually the deposit is the parts cost. This can be paid by Bank Transfer or PayPal. We keep popular parts in stock to allow us to offer a same-day service for some repairs.

Some items will be classed as Beyond Economical Repair (BER), which means it would be cheaper to replace the item than fix it. However, this all depends on the replacement cost of the item, not really age related, for example, We receive a laptop with a cracked screen, now many people would be tempted to throw it away, get a new one, spend £300+, when all it really needs is a new screen. This will cost anywhere between £50 and £100 depending on the make, model, etc. etc. So, £50-£100 to get your laptop working is much better than £300 spent on a new laptop, and not having the stress of transferring all your personal files. Now if you say its running slow too, we can probably sort that out too, when we have a device in bits we clean out all the dust, by the time we’re done with your device it will be like new.

We cant always respond to every enquiry, especially if its not something we can do, so if you don’t hear back within 48 hours or mark it urgent, then we probably cannot help you on this occasion.

Working hours are Flexible within reason to meet the customers needs, normally it will be Monday to Saturday 10 – 5 and Sunday 11-3, We work on the basis that you use our meeting point to transfer the device over to us, we can Collect but these are usually carried out at weekends and evenings but feel free to ask. (Chargeable for out of town).

Any Items that are BER are returned to the drop off point for collection, anything not collected within 30 days of notification, will be sold to recover costs. Any items that can be repaired but a customer decides to not get it fixed will carry a £20 charge to cover diagnosis
