If it has a circuit board, a motor, a connector, or a screen, we can usually assess it. Diagnostics are free, and if the fix is simple, it may be completed on the spot. Costs only begin when a deeper teardown is required, starting from £20.

Parts, Pricing & Turnaround
With so many devices on the market, parts availability varies. Quick quotes are possible for common issues like phone screens or console damage, but some items require 24–48 hours to source accurate pricing.

If a part needs ordering, a deposit (usually the parts cost) may be required. Bank Transfer and PayPal are accepted. We keep popular components in stock to offer same‑day repairs where possible.

Some items may be classed as Beyond Economical Repair (BER). This simply means the repair cost outweighs the value of the device. However, many items people assume are “done for” — like laptops with cracked screens — are often inexpensive to revive. A £50–£100 screen replacement is far better than spending £300+ on a new machine and transferring all your data.

Safe & Flexible Device Drop‑Offs
For security and privacy, we do not operate from a public shopfront. Instead, all handovers are arranged at a convenient local public meeting point — typically a supermarket or shopping‑parade car park.

This approach keeps:

• Your devices safe
• Our workshop secure
• Our home address private

We offer flexible meeting times and can travel within reason around Shrewsbury and nearby areas. Collections from your address may be possible, usually evenings or weekends, and may incur a small charge if outside town. Ideally we would meet you nearer to us.

Uncollected Items & BER Returns
BER items are returned to the meeting point for collection. Items not collected within 30 days of notification may be sold to recover costs. If a repairable item is declined after diagnosis, a £30 diagnostic fee applies.
